LDDE specially designed a linear lighting system for three bridges crossing the Danube canal in Vienna. Since May 2008, the Salztor, Marien, and Schweden Bridges are illuminated by over 300 PowerTube RGB LED outdoor floodlights manufactured by LDDE. From dusk until dawn the bridges are bathed in gold, blue and red light, making the bridges the newest attraction in Vienna's night sky. Each RGB LED floodlight can be individually controlled, making for a great lighting show - as seen in this short video (zip/wmv, 10 MB).

LDDE has created the first LED color therapy light system for medical use in Austria. Starting in April 2008, cardiac patients at Schwarzach general hospital experience both the therapeutic and comforting effect of LED color therapy during itercardiac catheter procedures. The hospital staff can choose from various lighting atmospheres by using a user-friendly touchscreen interface. For convenience, the touchscreens is located in the operating, technical, and patient monitoring rooms.

On the occasion of the Swarovsky Crystal Palace exhibition in Milan, LDDE created an artwork which was designed by the famous architect Zaha Hadid. The artwork was composed of 2800 Swarovski crystals with integrated LED-Lighting. In regard of the special construction, 86 crystal LED-traces
(each 7 - 16 metres / 276 - 630 inches long) can be mounted in different directions and designs.
