For the first time a camera head light with 18x1W HighPower LED`s has been invented for professional broadcasting – the “MovieLed“. High quality manufacturing, simple handling and many other useful features award this head light.

Due to the use of selected PowerLED`s and a special LedDriverTechnology a continuous colour temperature is secured on all levels. With regard to luminous intensity, userfriendly handling, quality and design new targets are set with MovieLed!

Developing MovieLed, primarily we took practical needs of the unser into consideration. This made it a big challenge for the LDDE engineers to develop this new LED light concept into a perfect seriesproduction.


The result is eyecatching! A solid aluminium housing with special surface structure guarantees optimal cooling. On the back side of MovieLed one will find the backlit dimmer wheel for continuous regulation of the light intensity and the power button. Additional performance characteristics are the “Multicolour“ indicators to show the operating status of the light and voltage level of external batteries.


MovieLed feeds via a special multicore cable system which secures perfect connection. Cables are available with all current connectors (4pin XLR, PowerTap and Sony SX/HIRose) so that the MovieLed can be powered with any 12VDC source. Also available as accessory is a remote control to operate the light intensity.

Four permanent magnets are integrated in each lens module to allow use of correction and frost gels in conjunction with the enclosed gel frame which simply mounts in front of the MovieLed.

MovieLed is equipped with a changeable lens module. Therefor whenever required one can choose between three different optics in 10°, 30° and 50°.
