ELI ELI – ELI Liezen

In 2016, Austrian artist Peter Sandbichler created the large-scale light sculpture ELI ELI for the ELI shopping centre in Liezen. The sculpturally folded timber structure combines geometric forms with coloured light, creating a lively interplay of material, form and illumination.

The backlit openings make the sculpture appear different with each lighting mood, turning the lighting technology into an integral part of the artwork.
