Falling Crystals – Swarovski / Dotzauer
“Falling Crystals” was created in 2000 from an award-winning design by designer Daniel Sanderson, winner of a design competition initiated by Swarovski at the Royal College of Art in London. The installation combines crystal with what was then innovative LED technology to form an extraordinary light object.
It was manufactured in collaboration with Dotzauer. LDDE developed and realised the electronics for the lighting, creating the technical basis for the interplay of light and crystal.
