RÉ / Zaha Hadid
RÉ, designed by Zaha Hadid for Swarovski Crystal Palace, reinterprets the classic chandelier as a dynamic spatial installation. The sculpture consists of Swarovski crystals with integrated micro LEDs, arranged along a spiral structure to create the impression of a frozen cosmic explosion. The combination of crystal, light and movement creates a new spatial experience from every angle. LDDE was responsible for the engineering, manufacture and installation of the piece, with around 2,800 integrated micro LEDs.
